Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.  Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the

English language at a level sufficient to communicate effectively with clients, members, guests, and staff.

Training and Experience: 1 year experience in a driving position preferred; Valid Florida Driver’s License

required.

Job Knowledge: Working knowledge of transportation duties and the role this area plays in the

total employee experience.

Job Summary: Assist the Director of Rooms / Front Office Manager in maintaining consistent

transportation services to our employees upon arrival and departure and ensuring the highest level

of service.

Physical Abilities: Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions, assisting employees.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include weekends, holidays and split shifts.
  2. Arrive to work on time, consistently.
  3. Upon entering the property, arrive in proper uniform, crisp, clean and in good repair. Name tag must always be worn by driver as well as staff while on property.
  4. Hair must be clean and cut in a becoming style; management has final approval.
  5. Ensure that the appearance of all vehicles are always maintained and cleaned according to company standards.
  6. Attend all required training, and any safety courses.  Provide feedback to the Director of Rooms from the drivers or employees.
  7. Report any safety hazards or vehicle issues, follow up that they have been corrected, and assist with providing a safe work environment.
  8. Ensure employees are greeted courteously upon arrival, and vehicle doors are opened.
  9. Respond promptly and courteously to all employee requests.
  10. Advise Director of Rooms of unusual guest reactions to services, whether positive or negative.
  11. Maintain appearance and good operating condition of shuttles / vehicles assigned. Enforce safe driving among drivers to include safety measure in the garage, following posted speed limits, wearing seat belts and obeying all traffic laws.
  12. Responsible for transportation of the staff.
  13. Attend all meetings with Director of Rooms and Front Office Staff, keeping all staff informed of all policies concerning staff relations.
  14. Maintain high sanitation and safety standards, by training and working daily with staff.
  15. Inform Director of Rooms or the Human Resources Department of any changes in the status of a   Driver’s license.
  16. Perform and follow up on any other duties as assigned by the Director of Rooms.
