Night Audit Supervisor (Overnight)

We are searching for a dynamic leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest service, even in the middle of the night. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, this individual will be a results-driven, outgoing and enthusiastic leader committed to providing results for guests and colleagues. The individual in this role will be responsible for the management of the property during the overnight shift.

The responsibilities and essential job functions of the Overnight Supervisor include but are not limited to the following:

• Consistently offer professional, engaging and friendly service
• Demonstrate a commitment to provide warm, anticipatory service to exceed the needs and expectations of our guests
• Responsible for management and operational assistance during the night in the absence of the department Managers
• Provides coaching and mentoring to the overnight Front Office team
• Effectively handle all guest concerns with follow-up and resolution in a professional and timely manner
• Assist in the development of an engaged, enthusiastic and guest driven team through recruitment, training, personal and professional development and recognition
• Carry out all night audit functions
• Be fully versed with statutory, fire, legal, health and safety procedures and take control in the event of an emergency
• Carry out both check in and check out procedures, cash handling etc.
• Maintain communication with the team through up to date and accurate information relative to service initiatives, packages and promotions
• Maximization of revenue by championing upsell strategies and walk-in strategies at the Front Desk

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years Front Office or Night Audit leadership experience
• Passionate about the people and the product
• Proven ability to effectively lead, motivate and develop a team
• Strong guest service orientation
• Highly motivated, organized, goal and results oriented individual who thrives under pressure
• Excellent organizational, written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional in presentation and demeanor
• Comprehensive knowledge of Front Office operations, policies and procedures
