HR Generalist

The Opportunity 

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring for a Human Resources Generalist to join our HR team at Target Field in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As an HR Generalist, you will support the HR team and focus on fostering positive labor and employee relations among teams, monitoring trends, and proposing constructive solutions.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $49300 - $64100 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Responsibilities 

• Assist with the administrative functions of new hire and return to work onboarding, new hire orientation, and training; administer training attendance tracking and enter new hires in the HRIS.
• Navigate employee and labor relations matters thoroughly and timely by applicable laws and contract requirements.
• Assist with providing direction and guidance to managers and team members on HR issues including recruitment, employee relations, corrective counseling, policy interpretation, legal compliance, compensation, and benefits programs.
• Manage the employee recognition program, including Employee Appreciation Day, giveaways, and other programs.

Qualifications 

• Minimum of 2 years’ HR experience required.
• High School diploma or GED required, college degree in HR or similar preferred.
• Previous HRIS experience is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with all leves of the organization.
• Strong organizational, decision-making and time management skills.
• Must be able to work most games and events. This will include nights and weekends on a reqular basis and holidays as needed.
