Job Overview

Our front desk staff play a vital role in delivering fantastic guest satisfaction while maximizing revenues and profits. We are looking for a Guest Services Agent who will make our guests feel welcome from the moment they arrive until their departure.

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Guest Services Agent, you will be responsible for:

• Welcoming guests and providing them with a smooth check-in process, which includes room selection, key issuance, and a comprehensive introduction to our facilities
• Assisting guests with check-out, ensuring all charges are correctly accounted for and handling various forms of payment
• Showing a thorough understanding of our hotel, including room categories, packages, promotions, and local area information
• Using up-selling techniques to promote our services and facilities, ensuring maximum room occupancy
• Addressing guest inquiries and requests in a timely and friendly manner
• Handling guest complaints with professionalism, conducting thorough research to find the most effective solutions
• Relaying messages to guests when required

Essential Job Functions

Our Guest Services Agent will:

1. Respond to guests’ special needs and requests, ensuring their satisfaction and encouraging repeat business
2. Remain calm and alert during emergencies or busy periods, while serving as a role model for other employees
3. Comply with attendance rules and be regularly available for work
4. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned

• Have excellent communication skills in English

• Have basic mathematical skills and the ability to accurately input information into our systems

Just a heads-up for our future associates in California, the anticipated compensation for this position is $20.00 per hour. The salary offered will be dependent on several factors, such as experience, education, and work location.
