What you will be doing: 

In this role you will serve as a liaison between the sales and catering department, and the front desk.  Providing our guests with an unforgettable experience at our hotel; attracting new clientele to increase business revenue. You will respond to guest inquiries, enter room list reservations, contact potential new guests based on networking and referral leads, assisting the sales team with administrative tasks, and House accounts/or Group Master payments

Requirements to be successful in this role:

• Previous sales and catering experience in a Marriott brand or luxury hotel establishment is ideal
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
• Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral from
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Comprehension of technical application of reservations system
• Detail-oriented, effectively use social media for postings and updates and market hotel events
• Ability to master basic selling techniques
