InterContinental Marseille - Hotel Dieu

InterContinental Marseille is perfectly located, overlooking the Vieux Port, right beside the oldest and most historical neighbourhood in Marseille known as the Panier.

InterContinental Marseille is housed in the former Hotel Dieu, a listed historical monument dating back to the 18th century, originally serving as a hostel for pilgrims to the nearby Basilica. The recent renovations took 2 years, during which various archaeological sites were discovered. You can see some of the artefacts that were excavated, in the dedicated cultural area of the InterContinental Marseille.
