Visitors should be sure to visit La Petite Maison Blanche, the most famous house in the city and possibly all of Quebec. The “little, white house” caught international attention during the 1996 Saguenay Flood, in which an entire neighbourhood was washed away save for this one unassuming, two-storey house. The destroyed environ has since been converted into a municipal park, with the little white house still standing tall.
The Saguenay-Chicoutimi region is also renowned for its vast open space and spectacular beauty. Throughout the seasons, visitors will enjoy the majestic lakes and scented forests. Local outdoor recreational activities include downhill skiing, boating, hiking, ice-skating and cycling.
Our Chicoutimi hotel is dedicated to providing guests with clean, hygienic accommodations, so you can enjoy peace of mind during your stay. We’ve implemented a variety of enhanced protocols as part of our Commitment to Clean.
