The Canopy Lounge

Good friends John Kallabat and Bill Opre have transformed a former auto parts store in downtown into a high-end lounge.

 Kallabat and Opre, a local builder open The Canopy Lounge, their new lounge-style bar and small plates restaurant.

“We think Brighton is in need of a different type of bar,” Bill Opre said.

The lounge-style bar serves high-end liquors and wines, as well as brands such as Bud Light.

 The Canopy Lounge is in the same building as the liquor, wine, beer and cigar shop.
