Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for full-time Receiving Clerks to join our team at Tusayan General Store in Grand Canyon, Arizona As a Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for completing tasks across shipping, receiving, and inventorying.

What will you do?

  • Unloads, unpacks, and inspects shipments of products and reports inconsistencies. 
  • Prices items, mark-ups and labeling for inventory control.
  • Assists with the merchandise counts, daily records, transfers and physical inventory. 
  • Ensures that all work areas are neat, clean and organized with strong attention to safety.
  • Requires drivers license and skill necessary to safely operate company vehicle.
  • Operates pallet jack and box truck as needed to complete tasks.

More about you

  • At least 1 year experience in a warehouse with shipping and receiving duties. 
  • Requires a valid drivers license and ability to safely operate a company vehicle in inclement weather. 
  • Must have good communication skills, verbal and written. 
  • Computer knowledge, data entry, and inventory system experience preferred. 
  • Ability to handle counts accurately and basic math skills are required. 
  • Safe operation of pallet jack and box truck and use of ladder.

Physical requirements

  • This position requires physical stamina to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds throughout shift. 
  • Requires ability to ascend and descend ladders approximately 20 feet high to place and retrieve product weighing approximately 25 pounds, or as safe. 
  • May use step stool and occasional stairs.  
  • Stand and walk, grasp, bend, stoop, carry and reach above the shoulders entirety of shift. 
  • Visual acuity to work with computers, paperwork, tags and small items. 
  • Exposure to and use of chemicals required to clean and sanitize areas, surfaces and equipment.
