The Dual Rate Table Games Supervisor shall be responsible for the efficient operation of the table games on their assigned shifts.
BASIC FUNCTION: The Dual Rate Table Games Supervisor shall be responsible for the efficient operation of the table games on their assigned shifts. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Gaming Operation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE
Must have High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED).
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening.
Must possess excellent communication skills.
Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.
Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.
Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
Minimum of three years of dealing experience and/or one year supervisory experience.
Successful candidate must be an experienced, results oriented, and hands-on professional.
Must demonstrate leadership, fairness, and sensibility to the customers and employees.
Must possess ability to instill a sense of pride and personal responsibility in subordinate employees.
Previous customer service experience preferred.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Maintains a high standard of guest service within the Table Games and actively promotes positive customer and employee relations by ensuring that excellent customer service is continually provided.
2. Monitors controls designed to assure full compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements.
3. Maintains a continuous inspection of cards, ensuring the security of the table games at all times.
4. Assists in monitoring the payouts on the table games to ensure that proper amounts are being paid to customers.
5. Ensures that organizational and regulatory policies and procedures are understood and adhered to by subordinate staff.
6. Handles customer and employee disputes that may arise and settle disputes in a manner that expresses excellent customer service as well as ensuring that the best interest of the operation is considered at all times.
7. Ensures the safety of all gaming chips and monies entrusted.
8. Acts as signatory on jackpots as outlined by Internal Control Manual.
9. Responsible for the accountability of the chips for each designated shift by maintaining a paper trail.
10. Makes table fills/credits as needed.
11. Monitors cash and chip transactions between operators and patrons.
12. Monitors any and all unusual activity between operators and patrons for possible collusion.
13. Evaluates employee performance and provides feedback.
14. Monitors employee performance and makes recommendations and assists the Table Games Shift Manager with recruitment, hiring, training, recognition, coaching and discipline, terminations and other personnel related issues.
15. Utilizes effective communication tools to ensure that consistent, accurate and timely information is provided through all shifts.
16. Maintains accurate attendance calendar for all table game employees on designated shift
17. Ensures that table games facility presents a professional and clean environment for both employees and guests.
18. Communicates regularly with employees and keep them informed on all casino events and activities.
19. Must be able to work well with Co-workers/Supervisors/Managers.
20. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
21. Attends all necessary training meetings.
22. Assists in other projects, as directed.
23. Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed, hours are determined by 24-hour schedule.
24. When assigned, will act in accordance with the essential functions of a Table Games Shift Manager.
25. Performs other related reasonable duties capable of being performed as requested by Management.
26. Works to develop subordinate staff.
