Reporting to the Manager, Digital Content Marketing, the Online Marketing Specialist will be a key player in crafting and executing data-driven digital marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, website traffic, and lead generation for multiple properties. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of success in managing and optimizing online marketing initiatives across multiple verticals and multiple channels.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.    Manages and optimizes social media ads, and paid advertising initiatives (PPC, CPM) across various platforms (e.g. Google Ads, DSPs, social media, OTAs, Metasearch, etc).2.    Oversees the creation, editing, and publishing of content across 7-10 Drupal websites for the organization.3.    Develops and implements comprehensive specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-bound (SMART) digital marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives.4.    Leverages search engine optimization (SEO) tools to conduct keyword research, optimize website content, and perform technical SEO audits to maintain high search engine visibility.5.    Collaborates with cross-functional teams (Database Marketing, Property Marketing, Creative Services) to ensure a unified marketing approach.6.    Leads the analysis and reporting of campaign performance, SEO tactics, and translating data insights into actionable recommendations.7.    Maintains business profiles on third-party platforms (Yelp, TripAdvisor, Google, etc.).8.    Manages and maintains relationships with vendors that support our digital marketing initiatives.9.    Manages and optimizes large marketing budgets to maximize return on investment (ROI).10.    Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.

 EDUCATIONAL, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science or related field required.

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in digital marketing strategy and campaign management required.

  • Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements indicated above.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA)

  • Proven track record of success in driving measurable results through digital marketing initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of marketing platforms and analytics tools (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, GA4, LookerStudio, Google Tag Manager, marketing automation platforms).

  • Expertise with content management systems (Drupal, WordPress).

  • Familiarity with basic web design principles and HTML and CSS knowledge.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft and Adobe Suites.

  • In-depth knowledge of SEO and SEM principles.

  • Experience with lead generation and conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.

  • Experience with creative design and video editing (Canva, Photoshop).

  • Experience in e-commerce marketing.

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.

REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS AND REGISTRATIONS

  • At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.

  • Select One of the Following:

    • ☐ Authorized Driver: Role requires operation or driving of Tribe-owned vehicles or driving patron vehicles. A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record as determined by the insurance carrier is required.

    • ☐ Driving Responsibilities: Role requires regular commuting between locations. A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance with minimum liability limits is required. Role will not operate or drive Tribe-owned vehicles or patron vehicles.

    • ☒ No Driving Responsibilities: Role does not require a driver’s license or insurance.

  • Google Ads Certification.
  • GA4 Certification.
