Massage Therapist

Primary Objective of Position: 

• Primary responsibility is to deliver excellence in quality Spa services to guests/visitors/members in a timely, courteous and efficient manner.  Escorts clients to and from treatment rooms, attending to any immediate needs throughout Spa visit.  Assists in providing information to any inquiries and helps to coordinate all guest requests for services.

Responsibilities and Job Duties: 

• Maintain complete knowledge of Spa Services, Products and Fitness Programs
• Maintain complete knowledge of Forbes, Chuan Spa, and The Langham standards and comply with hotel and departmental policies and procedures.
• Set up workstation/Treatment room by following sanitation protocols and stocking with necessary supplies.  Maintain cleanliness throughout shift by following sanitation protocols.
• Accommodate all guest requests expediently and courteously.
• Handle guest complaints by following the instant guest pacification procedures and insuring guest satisfaction.
• Assists to maintain cleanliness of Prep Room/Spa/Locker Rooms/ Treatment Rooms following sanitation protocols.
• Escort guests to and from treatments.

Experience Required:

• Massage School degree required.
• One to three years previous experience in a Spa, Private Practice, Doctor’s Office, Chiropractor’s Office or any combination.
• Current State of Illinois Massage Therapist license required.
• Luxury spa experience preferred.  

Pay Range:

• $12.54 - $15.67/hour, plus discretionary gratuities and commissions
