Human Resources Assistant

Norfolk Waterside Marriott is hiring a Human Resources Assistant. We are seeking a team player who is positive, energetic, organized and can prioritize in a fast -paced and dynamic environment!

Summary: This position assists with the day- to- day administrative duties of our Human Resources department and works closely with all departments and associates to ensure excellent internal customer service.

Responsibilities include:

• Facilitate the recruiting and new hire processes
• Administer tuition reimbursement and referral programs
• Assist with employee recognition programs
• Process parking payments
• Participate in the planning and execution of property AAC/Safety programs
• Facilitate associate Shoes for Crews program
• Coding and processing invoices
• Assist associates with password resets, system access issues, etc.
• Process personnel change forms
• Create and distribute employee communications
• Assist with monitoring all training initiatives
• Respond to associate inquiries in a timely fashion
• Project enthusiastic, optimistic, helpful attitude
• Follow all safety and security procedures and rules.
• Understand and consistently enforce all company SOPs and policies.
• Ensure the proper execution of HR documentation, procedures and policies are in place and being consistently executed
• Update Spotlight Associate of the Month

Pay Rate: $17.00
