BASIC FUNCTION: The Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Assistant Manager by overseeing the operation and staff of the restaurant to maintain the highest level of standards and efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Must have High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED).
Must have five years restaurant experience.
Must have prior supervisory experience.
Must be able to make quick decisions in high stress situations.
Must possess excellent customer service skills.
Must have a pleasant and positive personality.
Must be well organized.
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Must be hands-on.
Must always present a hospitality mentality--warm and generous.
Must always ensure a teamwork environment.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Maintains a consistently smooth running operation.
2. Monitors and critiques food quality and service levels.
3. Assists with hiring, and training of all staff.
4. Assists with coaching and counseling staff.
5. Ensures physical atmosphere and cleanliness of restaurants and bars are maintained, including inspecting tabletops, side-stations, and tray stands.
6. Assists with monitoring of all current inventories (liquor, beer, wine, food, etc.) and the ordering of new product.
7. May create the player accounts within our system and issue the player cards in conjunction with the property’s loyalty program.
8. Communicates with the manager on upcoming events and promotions.
9. Assists in end of the month inventories.
10. Attends meetings as required.
11. Responsible for timely performance evaluations of staff.
12. Maintains profitability of restaurant through forecasting and staffing.
13. Provides a pleasant and efficient atmosphere for staff and guests.
14. Performs other duties as reasonably requested by Management.
