The Embassy Suites Seattle Pioneer Square is looking for a talented Breakfast Cook to join our team! We are conveniently located one block from Union Station. If you are an early riser, have at least 1 year of line cooking experience (preferably in Breakfast), and are looking for your next career opportunity, this may be a great role for you!
Schedule: Availability from 4:30a-2:30p (in and out times staggered). Weekend and holiday availability required.
Wage: The hourly rate is $25.23 per hour to start and $28.03 after 90 days and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
What will I be doing?
As a Cook, you would be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and established standards in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
- Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
- Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products
- Stock and maintain designated food station(s)
- Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen
- Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
- Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items, as needed
- Preferred qualifications include:
- Previous F&B and customer service experience
- Committed to delivering high levels of customer service
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
- Ability to work on independently and within a team
