If you're someone who loves to know how things work and gets a thrill from keeping them working, then we have the perfect opportunity for you! We're seeking a talented Maintenance Engineer to join our team at the luxurious Borrego Springs Resort & Spa in beautiful Borrego Springs, CA.
Your Role in Paradise
As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be the wizard behind the scenes, ensuring that our hotel is in top shape for our guests. From maintaining guest rooms and public restrooms to handling fixtures, vending areas, and storage spaces, you'll make sure that everything is in perfect order. You'll also respond promptly and courteously to guests' maintenance requests, always striving to resolve any issues to their complete satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
We're not just looking for any ordinary maintenance guru. We need someone who has basic reading, writing, and math skills, along with a passion for keeping things spick and span. You should also be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as we know that's when the magic happens.
Being a Maintenance Engineer is no easy task, so you should be able to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds with ease. You'll also be on your feet, handling objects and equipment, bending, stooping, and kneeling like a pro. Plus, you'll need to keep your cool in high-temperature areas around heavy equipment. But hey, that's all part of the adventure!
