The award-winning Forbes 4-Star and AAA 5-Diamond Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club is looking for a Fitness Supervisor to join the Spa Team!
Located in the beautiful coastal town of Dana Point adjacent to Laguna Beach, this town played an iconic role in the emergence of California's surf culture and today is celebrated for its laid-back vibe and fun, active lifestyle.
The resort is perched on 175 acres atop a 150-foot seaside bluff with over 400 rooms, 115,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, and 8 food and Beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, a beach club, lounge, marketplace, and in-room dining.

Classification: Full-Time
Shift: Various – must be available to weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Pay Rate: The pay rate for this role is $25.00 per hour and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years experience in customer service in a high-end fitness center or luxury spa environment and hold a minimum of 3 specialist fitness certifications as well as conduct a minimum of (5) different specialized class types currently offered. Certifications include:
What will I be doing?
The Fitness Supervisor is responsible for providing a clean and safe environment in the fitness center, studio and lap pool area. Managing day-to-day strategies and operations of their facilities. They will oversee the fitness instructors and fitness attendants and help assist as an MOD for the spa & fitness. This position is responsible for risk management, facility usage and programing execution. The Fitness Supervisor will assist the Fitness Manager with employee schedules, create ideas and actions for revenue growth, navigate crisis management, and assist with providing facility tours with new members.
