We are looking for a Bilingual Maintenance Technician with a can-do attitude, who is skilled, reliable, and ready to take on a variety of tasks to keep our facility in top condition!
This is a part-time position for now, with the potential to transition to full-time after the New Year. Please note, weekends are required as part of this PM shift role.
What You’ll Do:

Provide Exceptional Service: Respond promptly and professionally to guests' questions, concerns, and requests with courtesy and efficiency.

Hands-On Maintenance: Perform a wide range of repairs and maintenance, including interior and exterior building work, hotel rooms, laundry and kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, lighting, water treatment, and swimming pools. You’ll ensure that everything is running at its best!

Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance needs before they become issues, keeping everything operating smoothly for both guests and staff.

Inventory Control: Ensure the security of tools, supplies, equipment, and furniture, so we’re always stocked and ready for the next task.

Replenish Supplies: Efficiently replenish supplies to minimize waste and make sure equipment is ready and operational for the next shift.

Work Orders: Complete assigned work orders quickly and with precision, ensuring high standards are met.

Stay Organized: Keep track of completed repairs and report any items that need further attention, helping to prevent downtime.

Punctual & Professional: Maintain excellent attendance, always showing up on time and following scheduled work, break, and meal periods.

High Standards of Grooming: Present yourself professionally by following grooming standards and adhering to the dress code.

Team Player: Assist with any other tasks as directed by your supervisor, contributing to the overall success of the team.
What You Need to Bring:

Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED, with 6 months to 1 year of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). Preferred candidates will have prior construction experience and practical knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC, and masonry.

Language Skills:Bilingual in English and another language (Spanish preferred) to effectively communicate with guests, team members, and customers from diverse backgrounds.

Flexibility: Ability to work weekends and PM shifts. This position is part-time but can transition to full-time after the New Year.

Weather-Ready: You’ll be comfortable working in all types of weather conditions, ensuring repairs are completed no matter what’s happening outside.

Hands-On Work: You’ll be working with mechanical parts, high up on ladders, and in extreme temperatures. Expect exposure to cleaning chemicals and moderate noise levels in a busy hotel environment.

Physical Demands:

Active Role: Expect to stand or walk for most of your shift, with lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 75 lbs.
