Position Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator is currently a part time position, working 2-3 days per week, helping to guide the employee experience from start to finish. The office has a long term employee that is hoping to job share with a person that has strong admin and people skills.
Responsibilities include hiring, onboarding, benefits coordination, performance management, awards and recognition, legal compliance and recordkeeping.
Must be considerate and kind, have patience, empathy, integrity, common practical sense and be conscientious and careful when speaking and composing correspondence. Communicating directly with employees is an essential part of this position and is vital to your success.
Job Requirements
A high level of administrative skills, accuracy and confidentiality.
2+ years of experience in the HR field, admin experience, the ability to respond to legal inquiries in clear, comprehensive sentences.
Basic knowledge of Spanish in order to communicate effectively with all employees.
Quick learner, practical, organized, team player, ability to work with all associates from line employees to upper level managers with respect and understanding. CONFIDENTIALITY!
Comfort with ADP Payroll, Paylocity (coming next year) Excel, Word, comfort signing on to websites to complete tasks (The Navigator EE Benefit website, Revinate Guest Experience Platform, EEO1 filing, 401k, FSA, Workforce Solutions claims, Workers Comp, etc.)
Over the next few years we hope to become more web and cloud based for our employee interactions, and anyone with prior experience in this area will be very helpful.
