SUMMARY
Responsible for the reception and retail area of the spa, orienting and greeting guests and providing personal guest service. Includes the greeting of all guests, answering phone calls, assisting guests with questions regarding spa services and products, booking all appointments, checking guests into the computer system, charging for services performed, and selling retail. Responsible for keeping the locker room, lounge, and fitness center areas neat, clean, and stocked with all amenities as well as general housekeeping duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
• Assist guests with the reservations and check-in process in a courteous and polite manner.
• Maintain a safe, clean and well-organized spa environment through consistent monitoring of the locker room, lounge, and fitness center.
• Stock locker room supplies and amenities and maintain accurate supply lists and inventory sheets.
• Ensure that inventory and use of all items is handled in accordance with company policy thus protecting the company’s assets.
• Accurately book, change, and cancel spa appointments.
• Assist guests with payment of services and retail in an efficient and timely manner.
• Properly open and close each shift according to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensures that the check-in and payment process is handled in accordance with company policy by processing cash, credit card and credit transactions accurately thus protecting the company’s assets.
• Provide accurate and detailed descriptions of spa treatments, packages, services, treatment contraindications, facility features and hours of operation.
• Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions, and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available in the Spa or on property.
• Responds promptly to guest requests, complaints or inquiries professionally, courteously and promptly reporting to a supervisor if needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, fully stocked and well organized work area.
• Assist in all areas of the spa operation, including locker room and fitness center as needed, as requested by management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or ability to pass our Basic Skills Assessment.
• Previous hotel, hospitality, housekeeping or spa experience preferred.
