Dual Director of Sales and Marketing
Reports To: General Managers of Country Inn & Suites Ontario Near Ontario Mills and Comfort Inn & Suites Near Ontario Airport, Corporate Regional Sales Manager
Requirements:
• Minimum of a high school diploma. Higher level of education preferred.
• 3 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a multi-property role.
• Ability to drive to client locations and must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities across two properties effectively.
General Responsibilities:
• Conduct and continuously update local market research for Country Inn & Suites Ontario Near Ontario Mills and Comfort Inn & Suites Near Ontario Airport.
• Drive incremental room nights and revenue for both properties.
• Develop and execute annual Sales and Marketing Plans for both properties.
• Achieve and exceed revenue and RevPAR targets for each property.
• Identify new business opportunities and grow revenues from existing clients across both locations.
• Conduct and enhance public and community relations for each property.
• Initiate and oversee all actions necessary to achieve revenue goals for both properties.
Primary Functions:
Revenue:
• Sales and Marketing: Prepare and implement individual Sales and Marketing Plans for both properties. Conduct sales calls to key accounts and potential clients for each location, capitalizing on all revenue opportunities.
• Financial: Pursue aggressive revenue goals, utilize yield management and revenue optimization tools, and prepare/manage annual budgets for both properties.
Community Involvement:
• Maintain strong community relationships for both properties by engaging with organizations like Chambers of Commerce, Convention and Visitors Bureaus, local schools, governments, and civic organizations.
Quality:
• Collaborate with front office and housekeeping teams to ensure both properties meet and exceed Fine Hospitality and brand standards for guest satisfaction.
Leadership:
• Motivate, coach, and train team members at both properties. Set goals, provide feedback, and foster a positive work environment.
• Demonstrate integrity and accountability while adhering to Fine Hospitality’s Standard Operating Procedures for both properties.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Send daily end-of-day activity and accomplishment emails to the General Managers of both properties and copy Fine Hospitality’s Corporate Director of Operations.
• Achieve revenue and RevPAR targets for both properties across all business segments.
• Establish and communicate monthly sales forecasts for each property, keeping General Managers and Corporate informed of progress.
• Develop and execute advertising programs aligned with GM and Corporate guidelines and approved budgets for both properties.
• Cross-sell opportunities among Fine Hospitality Group properties.
• Maintain high visibility in the surrounding communities for both properties.
• Implement efficient sales office procedures, ensuring accurate and updated account files with systematic follow-up.
• Respond promptly to leads/RFPs from IHG Sales and other business sources.
• Ensure follow-up on all sales leads for both properties.
• Maintain trace dates for contact follow-up and group bookings at both locations.
• Complete weekly Sales Department Productivity Reports for both properties.
• Assist General Managers in developing Sales and Marketing Plans, budgets, and submissions for both properties.
• Review weekly STAR Reports with General Managers and take appropriate actions.
• Maintain historical trend analyses for each property.
• Provide prompt servicing of business accounts for both locations.
• Analyze competition locally and regionally for both properties.
• Attend community activities and meetings relevant to each property’s market.
• Develop strategic relationships with third-party providers for both properties.
• Ensure maximum online exposure through web and third-party distribution channels for both properties.
• Attend tradeshows and events to promote both properties.
• Proficient in the usage of Property Management Systems and sales-related software for both locations.
• Other duties as assigned by General Managers or Corporate Management.

Performance Standards:
Performance will be evaluated based on budgeted REVPAR, MSI Index, Guest Satisfaction Index (GSI), and Associate Satisfaction Index (ASI) for both Country Inn & Suites Ontario Near Ontario Mills and Comfort Inn & Suites Near Ontario Airport.
