Assistant Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities:

🔧 Assist the Chief Engineer with daily, weekly, and monthly inspections and other necessary tasks.

🔧 Perform preventative maintenance in guest rooms, public areas, and back up the house.

🔧 Keep all equipment in top-notch condition, clean, and fully functional.

🔧 Maintain a comprehensive record of all repairs.

🔧 Swiftly respond to and complete minor repair work orders as they arise.

🔧 Uphold company and departmental safety and security protocols to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment.

🔧 Attend to guests' service needs professionally, positively, and promptly.

🔧 Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure excellent coverage and rapid guest service.

🔧 Adhere to quality assurance standards and expectations.

🔧 Report any missing hotel property or damages to the department manager.

🔧 Accomplish other miscellaneous tasks as requested by the department manager.

Job Requirements:

🔧 At least 6 months of prior maintenance experience.

🔧 Customer service experience is required, with preference given to those with hotel or related customer-facing experience.

🔧 Ability to bend, stoop, and lift as needed.

🔧 Reliable availability, including weekends and holidays.

🔧 Effective communication and interpersonal skills for guest interactions.

🔧 Quick learning and adeptness in a fast-paced role with constant guest engagement.

🔧 Strong multitasking abilities.

🔧 Minimum age requirement: 18 years or older.
