Guest Services Representative; Palace Resort

Come join our Vacation Myrtle Beach family! The Palace Resort is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person who possesses an outgoing personality to join our team! The Palace Resort is an ocean front property located in Myrtle Beach. Candidates must be highly skilled in communications and people management.

Vacation Myrtle Beach manages 14 family-oriented and advantageously located resorts featuring the best playgrounds and water parks in Myrtle Beach! Our goal is to provide an enjoyable and fun-filled vacation for our guests year-round.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Answer guests’ questions and offer information and assistance
• Check guests in or out of the resort
• Answer telephones
• Communicate with other departments to fulfill guests’ needs
• Act as the first point of contact for our guests, vendors, and occasionally our owners.
• Be responsible for taking incoming phone calls, occasional outbound calls, and responding to emails or chats daily from guests who have questions or concerns about a reservation, statement, etc.
• Meet and maintain Vacation Myrtle Beach standards and metrics such as guest satisfaction, accuracy, efficiency, and inquiry conversion to reservations.
• Build and maintain business relationships with owners and open lines of communication with other internal support teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Technical computer skills required on all forms of hardware - laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.
• Professional in all forms of communications such as email, phone calls, video calls, and texts.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to change activities frequently and cope with interruptions.
• Highly responsive and reliable.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, early mornings, and split shifts as needed.
• Enthusiasm & passion for customer service.
• Hospitality experience preferred.
• IqWare experience preferred.

Qualified candidates will also have an opportunity for advancement to include the position of Homeowner’s Representative. The Homeowner Representative is the main point of contact for our condominium owners and is trusted to build and maintain strong relationships as measured by the retention, profitability, and guest satisfaction of their assigned positions.
