BASIC FUNCTIONS
The Sales Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Sales team in an effort to attain all customer service, revenue, and profit goals while maintaining efficiency and professionalism.

QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & WORK EXPERIENCE
- Must have minimum one year experience with Opera.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum two years of hotel experience in Front Desk, Reservations, or Sales & Marketing.
- Knowledge of basic computer programs and platforms, to include Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Minimum typing skills of 40 words per minute.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Excellent communication skills and professional interaction with guests/team whether email, phone or in-person.
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and excellent follow through with tasks.
- Responsible for reservations for transient/group guests calls, and request through on-site managers.
- Knowledgeable of all aspects of the hotel facilities and area attractions.
- Handle all transient and group routing, credit card authorization forms, routing, and folio request.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize to complete daily/weekly tasks and to meet deadlines.
- Support and assist the sales team to include but not limited to qualifying calls/leads, VIP arrival and site inspections, lobby presence, and client requests.
- Setting up group billing/routing.
- Overall support and organization with systems used in sales and operations, including but not limited to Microsoft 365 programs, Publisher, Adobe, Canva, Opera, and Alice.
- Noting special request for group guest or VIP’s and more as directed.
- Ability to service and oversee in-house meetings hosted by all departments.
- Reconcile monthly commission for Online Travel Agents (OTAs).
- Manage Reservation email requests and inquiries.
- Handle all guests’ needs in a professional manner following OTH Hotels Resorts standards.
- Complete as directed and to specifications, all necessary projects, tasks within specified deadlines.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.
- Assisting Front Desk with access to channel manager platforms for any Failed to Interface reservations.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS
- Support in ordering of branded items and supplies for the sales and catering department.
- Attend and take notes at weekly Managers Meeting and BEO meetings.
- Ability to check group programs to ensure services are being provided as contracted.
- Support sales effort in research of potential programs utilizing internet and other systems.
- Support the Managing Director with tasks as required.
