We’re seeking a passionate and professional Front Office Supervisor to join our bustling team. In this role, you’ll be the face of our hotel, ensuring our guests’ check-in and checkout experiences are smooth, efficient, and delivered with a smile. But, more than that, you’re the one who makes our guests feel welcomed and valued, turning their stay into a memorable New York experience.

It's not all just about our guests though. You'll be a beacon of leadership in our front office, offering guidance, training, and support to our dedicated staff. And, in partnership with the Front Office Manager, you'll work to foster a productive and harmonious culture within the department and across the hotel.

Your Role Will Involve:

  • Mastering Front Office procedures to manage rate structures, increase revenue, and meet hotel goals.
  • Ensuring all Front Office systems comply with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining open communication with all internal departments.
  • Overseeing appropriate staffing levels and scheduling for peaks and valleys in occupancy.
  • Leading training in fire, life, and safety procedures.
  • Creating a culture of profitability, guest satisfaction, and employee satisfaction.
  • Implementing and monitoring guest service and VIP programs.
  • Handling complaints and incidents, and liaising with management.
  • Using the guest's name in all transactions.
  • Being knowledgeable about hotel services, operations hours, and the local area.

What We Are Looking For:

Education and Experience:

We’d love it if you had 1-2 years of front desk experience at a select-service hotel, and a year as a front office supervisor would be a bonus!

Language Skills: 

Excellent communication skills are a must. You should be comfortable reading and writing professional correspondence, and presenting information effectively to customers, clients, and our team.

Tools and Equipment:

You should be proficient in OnQ PMS, Opera, Lightspeed, or Fosse systems, and familiar with Word and Excel. The ability to coach and train others is also essential.

Rate of Pay:

For this role, we’re offering an hourly rate between $20.00 and $24.00, dependent on your experience, industry knowledge, and education.
