Head Mixologist – Position Summary
Overview: The Head Mixologist is a key leadership position of the Food and Beverage team. Responsible for leading the creation of premium beverage experiences by curating concept specific cocktail menus and delivering exceptional service through a high performing and inspired mixology team. Ensuring all guests enjoy a memorable experience in line with Hilton's standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct Reports: Mixologists, Bartenders, bar backs – any other team members directly involved in the creation of the mixology program.
Candidate Profile:
Minimum of a senior high school education, with a preference for those with a specialty in Hospitality or a related field. At least 3-4 years of practical experience within a destination bar environment demonstrating a strong acumen for bar operations. At least 1-2 years of experience in a managerial role within a destination bar environment, demonstrating a proven track record in delivering high-quality service and guest satisfaction. Strong command of English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with guests and team members. Beverage Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of food and beverage preparation and a solid foundation in alcohol service. Leadership Ability: Proven capability to lead, train, and inspire a team, ensuring consistent service excellence and a positive work environment. Adaptability: Flexible and responsive to dynamic operational needs and guest preferences, demonstrating an ability to thrive under pressure. Positive Attitude: A friendly, outgoing personality that creates a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Commitment: Willingness to work long hours and adapt to the demands of the role with enthusiasm and dedication. Professionalism: Maintains high standards of personal presentation and a guest-centric approach at all times.WALDORF ASTORIA OSAKA will be located on the second floor and 28th to 38th floors of the South District rental building, West Building. In addition to 252 guest rooms mainly with a floor space of 50m2, there are plans to construct “Peacock Alley,” the lounge and bar that Waldorf Astoria is known for, as well as a restaurant, fitness room, spa, indoor pool, chapel, library/lounge, banquet hall and conference rooms.
