The iconic Beverly Hilton is looking for aBellperson to join the Guest Services Team!

Since 1955, the hotel has hosted memorable moments etched in history from dazzling red carpet events to celebrity galas and we want you to be a part of the team who combines the excitement and entertainment of Hollywood with the prestige of Beverly Hills.

This Forbes 4-Star hotel has over 500 rooms, 60,000 square of feet of banquet space, and 4 food and beverage outlets. This includes 2 restaurants, a lounge, and in-room dining.

  • Shift: Various - must be available to work overnights, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Union Position:This position is part of the Local 11 Union which requires complete open availability. We are not able to accommodate schedule restrictions and full-time hours are not guaranteed. Hours and schedule are based on seniority and business needs and may be minimal at times until seniority is established.  You must be comfortable with a schedule and hours that may vary from week to week. 
  • Pay: The pay rate for this position is $16 per hour. After successful completion of 9 months of employment, the pay rate will increase to 90%, per the collective bargaining agreement.

What will I be doing?

As a Bellperson, you would be responsible for transferring and storing luggage and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Greet and escort arriving and departing guests to and from their accommodations
  • Retrieve and transport guest luggage
  • Inspect guest rooms and acquaint guests with these rooms and their features
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Organize and store luggage, as needed, according to guidelines
  • Ensure that management/leadership team is kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and/or other departments
  • Ensure messages and faxes are regularly delivered throughout the day
  • Assist with room moves, special luggage deliveries and/or pulls, and attend the main lobby and front door, as needed
  • Drives property-designated vehicles to and from guest destinations such as guest room or local airport, as needed
  • Assist in the maintenance, appearance and functionality of equipment
