We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Security Guard to join our team at The Beautiful Drake Hotel. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property. The ideal candidate will have excellent observation skills, a professional demeanor, and a commitment to providing outstanding service.

What you'll be doing...

• Patrol the hotel premises, including lobbies, hallways, and parking areas.
• Monitor security cameras and respond to suspicious activity or incidents.
• Provide assistance to guests and employees as needed, ensuring their safety.
• Enforce hotel policies and procedures to maintain a secure environment.
• Respond to emergency situations, including fire alarms or medical incidents.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
• Report any security or safety concerns to hotel management.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily activities and incidents.

You should be able to...

• Speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Communicate diplomatically and calmly to resolve tense situations.
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Lift, lower, maneuver, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Legally operate a motor vehicle.
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
