Housekeeping Inspector

Hampton Inn Bordentown is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Inspector to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. As a key member of our team, you will oversee housekeepers, inspect guest rooms, and maintain cleanliness in common areas. On non-inspection days, you will also assist with laundry, housekeeping and houseperson duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure they meet cleanliness, maintenance, and brand standards.
• Provide feedback and coaching to housekeeping staff, ensuring adherence to cleaning protocols and attention to detail.
• Document and report any maintenance or repair issues discovered during inspections, following up to ensure timely resolution.
• Assist in training new housekeeping staff, ensuring they understand the hotel’s cleanliness and operational standards.
• Manage housekeeping inventory, ensuring an adequate supply of cleaning products, linens, and guest amenities.
• Coordinate with the front desk and maintenance teams to ensure seamless communication regarding room status and guest needs.
• Support housekeeping scheduling and adjust staff assignments as needed to accommodate occupancy and operational needs.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain records of room conditions for future reference and quality control.
• Handle laundry operations and assist with houseman duties on assigned days
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• A team player with excellent communication skills
