Server - Upscale Restaurant

Job Summary

The Restaurant Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a friendly and outgoing personality.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take their orders
• Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about menu items
• Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner
• Ensure customer satisfaction by checking in with customers and addressing any concerns
• Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Upsell menu items and promote specials

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a server in a restaurant setting preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
