Job Description

The Bar Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bar, ensuring that customers receive excellent service and that the bar is well-stocked and clean. The Bar Supervisor will also be responsible for managing and training bar staff, creating schedules, and maintaining inventory levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the bar
• Ensure that customers receive excellent service
• Manage and train bar staff
• Create schedules for bar staff
• Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Ensure that the bar is clean and well-stocked
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues
• Monitor and maintain cash registers and cash handling procedures
• Ensure that all staff adhere to company policies and procedures

Skills

• Previous experience as a Bar Supervisor or similar role
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Ability to train and motivate staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of inventory management and ordering procedures
• Ability to handle cash and maintain accurate records
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
