The beautiful Capital Hilton, a monumental hotel in the heart of D.C., is looking for our next talented Bar Server to join our F&B team! This historic hotel is in the heart of the nation’s capital, and hosts events of all sizes throughout 30,000 sq ft of event space. Ideal candidates for this role will be organized, detailed individuals seeking to further their hospitality career who additionally possess the physical abilities to meet the demands of the position.

Shift Pattern: interested candidates should have full availability to work flexible shifts, weekdays/weekends/holidays as needed

Pay Rate:$13.50 per hour

Medical, dental and vision benefits are available as per the terms of the collective bargaining agreement 

A Cocktail Server is responsible for serving beverages and/or food to guests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing?

As a Cocktail Server, you would be responsible for serving beverages and/or food to guests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specials
• Take guest beverage and/or food orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system
• Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner
• Replenish beverages and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
• Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations
• Ensure serving station is well-stocked at all times
