Position Summary:

As the Associate GDCM Property System Specialist, you will follow the approved implementation processes to successfully deploy and install Property, Sales, and/or Revenue systems to our hotel properties globally. You will provide remote/onsite training, system configuration and troubleshooting and will perform these implementation projects after the handover from the Manager or Senior Associate.

Although our preference is to base this position out of our European Corporate Headquarters in Watford, we are open to applicants living elsewhere in the UK.  We could also base the successful applicant from any other major European city, where we have a Corporate presence

What will I be doing?

Your core responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  •    Liaise with the hotel management team about remote/onsite activities, schedules, and trainings 
  •    Execute the following scheduled activities: System Database Build, training, Hardware placement / setup and System interfacing 
  •    Perform system issue resolution by collaborating with the support teams (internal and external) to rectify any support tickets
  •    Provide communication with other Implementation team members, including shift and task scheduling 
  •    Sign off on projects, providing wrap up and handover as per the project plan and task list 
  •    Maintain your own development and onboarding plans, working with the Senior Associates and management team to achieve full exposure to all implementation project types
  •    Attend all internal departmental and training calls, actively participating in information sharing through approved channels

    Requirements

    What are we looking for?
    The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills: 
  •    Superb communication skills (verbal and written) 
  •    Independent work ethic and collaboration skills to work as part of a team 
  •    Organization skills to ensure process improvement and implementation integrity 
  • Required Qualifications:
  •    Professional experience in Technology or related field
  •    Hotel experience using Property, Sales, or Revenue Systems daily 
  •    Solid understanding of Hilton’s systems (PMS, CRS, downstream systems) and interfaces                                                                 
  •     Ability and willingness to travel up to 60-70% of the time (both domestic and international)
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  •    Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus strong Technology related work experience, or High School Degree/GED plus significant Technology related work experience  
  •     Solid on-property hotel experience using Property, Sales or Revenue Systems daily 
  •    Consistent record of accomplishments executing Hilton’s standard operating procedures 
  •    Demonstrable success in a customer-facing environment (i.e.: through satisfaction scores)
