The Opportunity 

Delaware North is hiring a ServiceNow CMDB Administrator to join our team in Buffalo, New York. As a ServiceNow CMDB Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing the CMDB within the ServiceNow platform. Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $68300 - $92200 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Responsibilities 

  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of CMDB data through regular audits, data validation, and ongoing maintenance activities
  • Define, enforce, and manage CI lifecycle processes, including creation, modification, retirement, and decommissioning, while resolving CMDB-related incidents such as data discrepancies and synchronization issues
  • Implement and manage integrations between the CMDB and other IT management systems, such as asset management, change management, incident management, and discovery tools
  • Provide support for change management processes by assessing the impact of proposed changes on the CMDB, ensuring updates are accurately reflected in change records, and developing related reports and dashboards
  • Proactively identify opportunities to optimize CMDB functionality, data quality, and operational efficiency, recommending and implementing process improvements, automation solutions, and best practices

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may substitute 
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification preferred 
  • Demonstrated experience in configuring and administering the ServiceNow CMDB module 
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow platform administration, including modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, and Discovery 
  • Strong understanding of ITIL principles, particularly in the areas of Configuration Management and Service Asset and Configuration Management  
  • Experience with data modeling, schema design, and relational databases
