Imagine working in the heart of paradise, driving luxury sales for an iconic destination. At Ka La'i Waikiki LXR by Hilton, we are seeking a dynamic Director of Leisure Sales who will elevate our sales strategy and maximize revenue in one of the world's most desirable locations.

As a Director of Leisure Sales, you will report directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing and collaborate closely with the revenue team to align the leisure and transient sales strategy with the property’s business goals. The ideal candidate will be market-based, with an extensive network of consortia accounts and over five years of experience in luxury leisure sales within 4- or 5-star hotels.

What will I be doing?

The Director of Leisure Sales is responsible for generating new luxury Consortia, Entertainment, and Tour/Wholesale accounts to maximize transient revenue, profits, and market share.

  • Develop and solicit new Consortia accounts focusing on American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts, Virtuoso, Travel Leaders Select, and Signature.
  • Monitor package implementation with operational departments and deploy them to luxury partnerships (FH&R, Virtuoso, Signature).
  • Build relationships with International and Diplomatic clientele.
  • Develop FIT, Wholesale, Entertainment, Local, and Corporate negotiated accounts.
  • Support and promote leisure packages in conjunction with the Revenue Management and Marketing Teams.
  • Set and negotiate rates for special corporate/preferred and local volume negotiated accounts, with direction from Revenue Management and DOSM.
  • Conduct research on key account room night/revenue performance at competitive-set.
  • Prepare account performance reports on a weekly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Grow relationships with current accounts.
  • Host and direct on-property Travel Partner FAM Trips, Site Inspections, and Educational Tours.
  • Plan and execute sales calls, presentations, and client entertainment with retail travel agents, luxury travel managers, and other intermediaries.
  • Present a polished, professional image of the Resort consistently.
  • Cross-sell Resort outlets and revenue centers (e.g., spa, dining, golf, and activities).
  • Travel internationally and domestically as required by the marketing plan, focusing on retail travel agencies, consortia, and wholesale accounts.
  • Be self-motivated, team-oriented, ambitious, and driven for sales success.
  • Execute additional projects and duties as assigned by the Home Office and property.

The annual salary range for this role is $100K-$125K and is based on applicable specialized experience and location.
