Housekeeping Attendant

Qualifications:

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills with fellow associates and guests, whether in person or via cellular telephone/radio.
• Capability to comprehend and execute daily work assignments.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and push/pull up to 250 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure cleanliness and organization of assigned public spaces and guest room floors to support Guest Room Attendants and uphold Le Meridien standards.
• Retrieve soiled linen and trash from Guest Rooms and Room Attendants' carts for proper disposal.
• Monitor hallways for maintenance issues and perform special cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning or repainting as needed.
• Deliver guest amenities and fulfill special requests promptly and courteously (e.g., rollaway beds, cribs, toiletries).
• Complete assigned projects on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis under the direction of Housekeeping Managers/Supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness of stairwells, elevators, and hallways by removing debris and room service trays promptly.
• Organize and restock housekeeping supplies in designated storerooms upon delivery to ensure efficient floor operations.
