Manager - Slot

Description

The Role:

Ensure the successful operation and performance of slot equipment and department personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal guests at all times.
• Knowledge of SDS and CAD
• Ensure compliance with all slot-related CSRs, MICs, ICs, and company policies and procedures, including those related to personnel.
• Monitor performance of slot machines and adjust as necessary based on competition, property goals, and customer and team member feedback.
• Delegate authority, and assign responsibilities and work schedules to department staff.
• Provide hands-on leadership to Slot department.
• Develop and manage the departmental budget, including capital expenditures.
• Manage slot equipment placements, repair, movement, and compliance.
• Ensure proper display and performance of slot equipment.
• Monitor staffing levels to ensure budgetary compliance.
• Responsible for interviewing, hiring, developing, and evaluating department staff.
• Administer disciplinary action as necessary, and guide department leadership in same.
• Timely and professionally address guest service issues.
• Review all departmental activity with the Director of Operations, VP/General Manager, and other directors as needed.
• Timely communicate all Slot issues.
• Maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial information, operating systems, company policies and procedures, marketing plans, and team member information.
• Prepare and deliver reports as needed.
• Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities.
• Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Ensure the safety and security of all guests and team members.
• Comply with all policies and procedures established by Bally’s KC Casino and department management.
• Maintain regular attendance as needed and scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned or any reasonable request from any member of management.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, at least 5 years of experience in slots, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
