Compensation: Based on experience, Full-Time

As Assistant General Manager you will mentor our ambitious TEAM ensuring outstanding guest service and delivering positive guest experiences.  In this role you will collaborate with our General Manager to plan and oversee the hotel’s daily operations, and assume responsibilities in their absence.

In this role you will:

Be responsible for all duties of the front desk operation which includes: staff training, inter-department communications, and staff scheduling. The Front Office Manager should possess strong communication skills and demonstrate leadership abilities. In addition to assisting in the operation of the Front Office operation and guest services personnel, this position will respond quickly to guest requests and/or complaints in a friendly manner and ensure that appropriate action is taken to guarantee guest satisfaction.

Requirements to be successful in this role:

  • 3+ Previous experience in a Hyatt brand setting
  • 3+ years of management experience in the Front Office and Housekeeping.
  • Strong knowledge of software applications, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and hotel-specific platforms (OnQ, Opera, Fosse, Lightspeed, HotSOS, GXP, BOB, Kipsu, Slack)
  • Fluency in English: additional languages preferred. Spanish language skills are beneficial
  • Proven success in guest service results.
  • A hospitality management degree is a plus.
  • Strong financial knowledge is required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Drive for Results demonstrated through successful performance in prior leadership positions.
  • Time management skills to meet commitments across multiple departments and roles.
  • The customer focuses on delivering optimal employee and Customer Satisfaction consistently.
