Front Office Manager

Saint John’s Resort  is searching for a professional Front Office Manager. We are a beautiful AAA Four-Diamond Hotel, Conference Center and Golf Course with extremely high expectations for providing EXCEPTIONAL guest service.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2-4 years of progressive front office experience in a high volume, AAA Four-Diamond hotel. You must be an extremely positive and outgoing individual who is completely focused on providing our guests with a memorable experience. The majority of your time will be spent interacting with guests, while also training and developing your staff.

Requirements:

As a Front Office Manager for Saint John’s Resort, the ideal candidate will be exceptionally outgoing and guest service oriented. Prior experience with OperaProperty Management Systems is required. Knowledge of OTAs and revenue management a must. Experience with G3 Revenue Management is desired.

Position requirements include, but are not limited to:

· Highly interactive with guests on a continual basis to obtain feedback on quality of product, service levels, and overall satisfaction

· Ability to create memorable guest experiences with personalized service, amenities, and timely communication of guests' needs

· Effectively responds to and proactively handles guest requests and concerns

· Responsible for staffing, training, supervising, and leading the operational activities of the Front Office team that includes Guest Service and Concierge Associates, Reservations Associates, Bell Staff and Night Auditors

· Prepares associate schedules according to business forecasts, payroll budget guidelines, and productivity requirements

· Financially responsible for forecasting, budgeting, P&L analysis, internal and inventory controls, and managing controllable expenses relative to budget

· Review cost, expenses, pricing, and trends in the entire operation and takes action to maximize overall profitability

· Develops and implements strategies for all departmental activities to support achievement of established hotel goals

· Coordinates activities with other departments in order to achieve optimal levels of communication, guest satisfaction, and associate recognition

· Computer skills are required as well as familiarity with POS and reservation systems

· Must be able to workdays, evenings, weekends, holidays, and irregular shifts when necessary
