The Waldorf Astoria Versailles – Trianon Palace is looking for a new talent: an Assistant Banquet Manager

At the Waldorf Astoria Versailles – Trianon Palace, you will work under the responsibility of the banquet director

Your role will be to:

• Work in close collaboration with the seminars and banquets department, the executive chef for the efficient and professional organization of hotel events
• Participate in operational meetings to ensure effective cooperation between departments. Monitor BO sheets and their updating
• Organize the team's work by placing the customer at the heart of priorities and integrating the principle of multi-skills
• Ensure clean and tidy spaces, impeccable set-up/buffets Inspect banquet rooms every day (front and back) to ensure cleanliness, physical condition and operation of equipment
• Control stocks of linen and crockery and carry out regular inventories
• Accompany customers in the field with professionalism and courtesy. Ensure customer satisfaction throughout events. Handle customer concerns/special requests by responding quickly and professionally
• Have an excellent relationship with external caterers and companies
• Participate in improving the offer by providing information from the field.
• Handle complaints effectively and implement corrective actions
• Ensure effective communication between all employees and also between the different departments of the hotel
• Project a positive, professional and friendly image for customers and Team Members

Requirements

Required profile

• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in Banquet operations,
• You have excellent interpersonal skills and good communication skills.
• Fluency in English and French is essential for this position,
• Must be able to perform professional services with attention to detail,
• Work cohesively with colleagues as part of a team,
