Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Responsible for cleaning the lobby, public areas in the conference center, concierge area, gift shop, lobby telephone area, men’s and ladies locker rooms, behind the front desk, and office space in the general area
  • Clean all glass doors in area of responsibility
  • Clean and dust overhead light fixtures and chandeliers
  • Check and clean fireplace area
  • Dust and empty trash in all areas of responsibility
  • Performs other duties as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to: (1) deal with the public and co-workers with tact and courtesy; (2) use a vacuum cleaner; (3) comprehend oral and written instructions
  • Willingness and ability to adhere to applicable grooming and appearance standards.
  • Six months to one-year hotel housekeeping related experience.
  • Must be proficient in English.
  • Must be available to work all shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical requirements include, but are not limited to: (1) performing heavy cleaning; high and low dusting; (2) transporting objects weighing up to 60 pounds; (3) a great amount of walking in all types of weather; (4) lifting, standing and bending up to 8+ hours daily; and (5) working at heights up to 30 feet in a lift vehicle.

STANDARDS: Maintain a positive, enthusiastic outlook; smile and greet guests, employees, managers, and supervisors; show respect for and cooperate at all times with those for whom and with whom you work; report to work as scheduled and on time; meet appearance standards; perform assigned tasks accurately and on time.
