You are the star our Food & Drinks team needs to amaze and enchant our Hilton's guests. As an F&D Supervisor at Hilton Antwerp Old Town, you will be key in creating unforgettable Guest and Hilton Member experiences. With responsibilities ranging from ensuring impeccable service to maintaining safety standards, this role offers a fantastic opportunity in a prestigious setting.

What will you be doing?

First of all you will be the vibrant supervisor who will raise the bar every time for our Hilton standards. From overseeing operations to fostering a positive team culture and guiding our amazing team to ensure our guest have a memorable time in one of our outlets.

ü  You are the driving force behind the dining and drink experience in our F&D outlets, both before, during & after the stay of our guests.

ü  You bring the light and warmth of hospitality to our guests, handle any questions or complaints and train your team to bring the warmest guest service.

ü  You provide support and oversee the activities, planning and training courses to ensure compliance of our Brand standers.

ü  You check the financial procedures and make adjustments to optimize the way of working.

ü  You carefully monitor and follow safety and HACCP standards.

ü  Assist with evaluation, talent management and development plans.

ü  You ensure smooth communication within your department.

ü  You act as a positive leader, inspiring your team to work to the highest standards.

ü  Supporting our banqueting team when there are events planned and support in inventory management.

Requirements

How many boxes can you check of our wishlist?

ü  You have a valid working permit to be able to work in Belgium, this procedure takes some time so be sure to have this ready before applying.

ü  Preferably you have a background in a hotel management or have gained sufficient professional experience in the hospitality industry.

ü  You have an excellent knowledge of the HACCP standards

ü  You are fluent in Dutch and English, French and any other language is a plus!

ü  Guest focus and drive to provide guests with unforgettable moments is your number one priority.

ü  You have excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire a team.

ü  You know how to delegate tasks in a constructive and efficient way

ü  You have a flexible attitude and being organized is your key to success.

ü  You are a real team player and can work independently.

ü  You know how to work with computers and can quickly adapt to new programs and procedures

Additional Information: Opened in 1993, the hotel is housed in a beautiful historic building, namely the former Grand Bazar du Bon Marché, listed for its remarkable architecture.We have 210 spacious rooms in classic style, in various room types. We have a total of 15 banquet and meeting rooms with a capacity from 2 persons up to our Belle Epoque Ballroom where events up to 1000 persons can be organized.

Our Brasserie "Blend 32" where you will be working is located on the Groenplaats where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast, a refined lunch, dinner or a nice drink from morning until late in the evening. And do not forget one of the best views on our Cathedral.
