Maintenace / Room (PM)

We are looking for a reliable Maintenance Technician that works well independently and with others. The Maintenance Technician is part of a team that ensures guest satisfaction and operational efficiency of equipment in all guestrooms and outlets of the hotel.

Job Duties:

• Ensures all equipment in guestrooms is in working order.
• Performs scheduled maintenance to manufacturers specifications
• Maintains appearance of exterior and interior of building
• Reports all potential safety hazards to a Manager immediately
• Communicates parts and material needs, job status and project status to appropriate supervisor in a timely manner
• Keeps work area clean and organized
• Represents the hotel in a positive and friendly manner at all times
• Ensures that all guests are greeted
• Performs all duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Preferred Minimum of 1 year experience as a Maintenance Technician or equivalent
• Knowledge of all aspects of building maintenance i.e., HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, etc.
• Strong preventative maintenance background
• Work with minimum supervision
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance at all times
• Ability to communication effectively and work as part of a team
• Ability to read and follow both verbal and written instructions
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure
