How Will You Shine?

As a valued and successful Houseperson, you will be required to:

• Notify laundry for linen needed
• Empty vacuums and check belts if applicable
• Clean and organize storage closets
• Collects soiled linen for laundering
• Received linen supplies from floor shoots
• Maintains housekeeping carts
• Walk all assigned floors at the beginning, middle, and end of shift to collect linen, garbage, and any debris
• Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor closet
• Deliver towels, cribs, and other items to the guest rooms on requests
• Perform duties of room attendant when necessary
• Report maintenance issues
• Report rooms that are still occupied after 11 am
• Clean trash chutes and linen chutes daily
• Refill the par stock of guest amenities and supplies on each floor closet
• Help the room attendants with the heavy lifting, high dusting, cleaning windows, etc. when doing a general cleaning of a room
• Remove soiled linen and trash from the rooms
• Make sure guest rooms and storage rooms are locked and secure
• Do a final walk-through of ALL areas
• Report missing /found articles, damage, or merchandise problems to the housekeeping supervisors
• Discuss any issues that have not been addressed to the oncoming shift
• Always respond in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other colleagues
• Take up any tasks assigned by the supervisors as and when needed
• Report to work in the required uniform and in adherence with the Resort’s Dress Code Policy
• Must be able to work independently and as a team player
