For more than 50 years, Hotel Northland was the social hub of Green Bay. The site of countless weddings and galas, and the home of many resident Green Bay Packers and visiting dignitaries, Hotel Northland hummed with life day and night.

At the corner of Adams and Pine, Hotel Northland was downtown Green Bay’s beating heart. It remained a hotel until 1980, when like in many cities, the public gradually turned away from its downtown. This Grand Dame building became apartments for the elderly and disabled until 2010, when all residents were moved and it paved the way for the return of the great hotel.

In 2017, Hotel Northland re-emerged as a full-service hotel and once again takes its rightful place at the center of a now vibrant and growing downtown Green Bay. Under the guidelines of the National Park Service, Hotel Northland is fully restored, from its miles of mosaic tile floors and original chandeliers to its gleaming wood paneling and magnificent arched windows. Paying homage to its original developer Walter Schroeder and architect Herbert W. Tullgren, Hotel Northland captures the spirit of this 1924 building, while delivering all new state-of-the-art systems and modern amenities.
