Summary
The Restaurant Manager directs and coordinates activities of the food and beverage personnel and service in the front of the house of the restaurant. Manages staff, products, service and financial results. Ensures excellent customer service.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages the Lead Restaurant Supervisor and the Dining Shift Supervisor who supervise employees in the restaurant. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required; College degree in Hospitality Management a plus; 8 to 10 years related experience in the Food & Beverage industry with, at least, 5 years in a management role; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of Arizona State Liquor Laws - Title 4 and/or Arizona Alcohol Awareness certification required.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must possess a Maricopa County Food Handler’s Card.
Computer Skills
Must have good PC skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, POS systems (Infogenesis preferred), timekeeping/payroll systems (Kronos preferred) and inventory/purchasing systems (SWS preferred).

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and secondary smoke. The employee is frequently exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
