The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time Senior Maintenance Technician to join the operations team at Holiday Inn Estes Park located in Estes Park, Colorado. As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will be using your experience to handle maintenance work orders and preventive maintenance.

What will you do?

  • Complete maintenance, repairs, and preventative requests on time and within budget
  • Trouble shoot electrical and HVAC commercial kitchen equipment
  • Coordinate vendors and contractors
  • This is a driving position; the successful applicant must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
  • Perform basic carpentry and painting duties
  • Promptly report maintenance problems requiring trade specific skill and attention

More about you

  • Minimum 5 years experience in building maintenance, or in trades such as electrical, refrigeration, plumbing
  • Have the ability to acquire a CPO.
  • Ability to comply with company vehicle policy, and ability to adhere to all safety, risk management and environmental policies and procedures and preventive maintenance
  • Capacity to perform level one trade functions such as electrical motor trouble shooting to 220 volts, plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC, basic boiler operation and kitchen equipment repair
  • This is a driving position; the successful applicant must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
