Position Overview

The Hotel Maintenance Engineer is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining the entire hotel facility, including physical infrastructure, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems. You will lead efforts in preventative maintenance, guest room repairs, and the upkeep of all interior and exterior spaces to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for our guests and staff.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair the hotel’s physical structure, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

• Respond promptly to guest room calls, ensuring any issues are resolved with minimal disruption to the guest experience.

• Perform minor plumbing tasks (e.g., fixing leaks, replacing faucets/toilets), light electrical repairs, and drywall patching.

• Prioritize and complete urgent work orders and scheduled downtime repairs to minimize impact on hotel operations.

• Conduct routine inspections and execute preventative maintenance procedures as per established guidelines.

• Maintain and organize inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment to ensure operational readiness.

• Assist in the upkeep of interior and exterior landscaping, ensuring the property remains clean, safe, and visually appealing.

• Collaborate effectively with other departments and provide timely communication on maintenance status or issues.

• Adhere strictly to hotel safety protocols and compliance regulations.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by hotel leadership.

✅ Qualifications

• Prior experience in general maintenance, facility engineering, or a related field (hotel or residential experience preferred).

• Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems.

• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.).

• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Flexible schedule availability, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as required.

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Valid driver’s license
