The opportunity

Delaware North’s Patina Restaurant Group is hiring a General Manager with an exceptional knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails that is dedicated to creating extraordinary dining experiences for guests. As General Manager you will use your strong knowledge of business financials by monitoring an annual budget, labor control, operating expenses, and PLs. You’ll also use your skills to lead, inspire, and collaborate with a dedicated group of talented chefs, managers, and team members at El Tiempo Cantina at Choctaw Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $68,300 – $92,200 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. What will you do?

  • Manage day-to day-restaurant operations with a strong focus on guest satisfaction. 
  • Review financial statements and other performance data to measure productivity, goal achievement and determine areas that need cost reduction and program improvement. 
  • Carry out administrative duties such as scheduling of team members, workforce planning, training, sales tracking, labor tracking, petty cash, deposits, inventories, ordering, account payables and receivables, and PL accounting.
  • Establish standard operating procedures for supervising, inspiring, and motivating all front of the house team members. 
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef on standard operating procedures for the front and back of the house for food and menu specifications, food handling, food safety requirements in compliance with Health Department standards, receiving, and storage procedures. 

More about you

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a General Manager in full-service restaurant, hotel, or other food and beverage location with similar volume, capacity, and standard of service. 
  • Strong wine and bar knowledge.
  • Servsafe Manager, Food Safety Handler, and Training for Intervention Procedures certifications. 
  • Strong financial and computer skills with experience working with and understanding PL’s, service and labor cost budget monitoring and management. 
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays in addition to normal business hours, as needed. 
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to deal effectively with all types of business contacts, team member affairs, and customers. 
  • Ability to navigate and utilize Microsoft Office Suite programs, point of sale systems, and online or digital reservation systems. 
  • No degree required.
