Accounting Clerk

About the Role:

The Accounting Clerk plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization within the insurance industry. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate processing of invoices, managing accounts payable, and performing bank reconciliations. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall financial reporting process by preparing journal entries and assisting with job costing. Additionally, the Accounting Clerk will collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
• Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles, preferably in the insurance industry.

• Experience with accounting software and financial management systems.
• Knowledge of insurance industry regulations and compliance requirements.
